Right before COVID hit Colorado, Ian brought a little gob of songs into the studio and had us run through them in the span of 3 days. We only did each song a few times, fully meaning to come back and record the songs for final takes. Instead, we never recorded them again and decided to mix them. As we listened to these rough takes, we realized that we had created beautiful little spaces for each tune and decided to release it.
